Use Web3 Close from your assistant
Give your assistant the address below. It can then do for you what is listed on this page, and nothing else.
The one-step setup
Copy these words into your assistant. They send it to this site's own setup page.
Read https://web3close.com/agent-setup/prompt.md and do what it says to add Web3 Close to this assistant.
The words can also be selected and copied by hand.
The address
- Address
- https://web3close.com/mcp
- Name
- Web3 Close
- Sign-in
- No sign-in. Where the assistant asks, choose the option with no sign-in.
Where to enter it
These are the steps each assistant's own help pages gave on 13 October 2026. An assistant may offer custom connectors on some of its plans only.
- Claude
- Customize, Connectors, "+ Add", "Add custom connector".
- ChatGPT
- chatgpt.com/plugins, "+", "Add custom MCP server".
- Grok
- grok.com/connectors, "New Connector", "Custom".
- Another assistant
- Any other assistant that takes a Model Context Protocol server by its address takes the same one.
Ready-made packages
Files in the forms particular assistants read, served from web3close.com itself:
- ChatGPT and Codex skills
- https://web3close.com/agent-setup/skill.md — the skill form both read; it sends the assistant to the setup page.
- Claude Code plugin
- https://web3close.com/agent-setup/claude-plugin.json — the plugin manifest Claude Code documents, with this server as its one remote server.
- Codex CLI
- https://web3close.com/agent-setup/codex.toml — the config table Codex documents, with this address.
What your assistant can do with it
One thing, which a visitor to this site can do too.
- A check of your header rows
- Give the header row of each file a month-end close is made from: the first line only, no client data. That means no names, no balances and no transactions. The answer says, field by field, what is present, what is missing and what to ask whoever produces the export. It goes by the words in the column names alone. A file given with any line after its header row is refused. A header row cannot show whether a column is filled, how dates and decimals are written, or whether an identifier repeats. There is no charge. The header rows are not kept. Nothing in the reply is accounting or tax advice.
What is kept
What your assistant sends to a tool reaches us. The rest of the conversation does not, and we do not ask for it. The company that makes the assistant handles the conversation under its own terms, which are not ours.
Header rows are read to make the answer and are not kept.
We count how many times each tool is used in a day, and keep the count for 90 days. The count holds no address and nothing that was sent.
Everything else Web3 Close keeps is in the privacy notice, linked at the foot of this page.
